H.E. Dr. Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, received H.E. Suhail Mohammed Bin Faraj Al Mazrouei, UAE’s Minister of Energy, and his accompanying delegation at his office at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Dubai, This formed part of coordinated meetings held to enhance collaboration between the two ministries.
Attendees included H.E. Abdul Rahim Al Hammadi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services, Ministry of Environement and Water and H.E. Dr. Nasser Al Ali, Director of Legal Affairs. The parties discussed various aspects of collaboration and mutual interest, particularly regarding the reduction of energy and water consumption to achieve performance integration. The integrated performance will help meet the objectives of the UAE National Agenda unveiled by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Updates on energy and water consumption control were discussed in the meeting as well, along with key applications and pertinent regulations in order to advance collaboration and integration towards achieving the leadership's aspirations.
At the end of the meeting, both parties assured that they would continue to hold meetings to further develop and broaden all aspects of collaboration and coordination between them.
