The Ministry of Environment and Water will participate at GITEX Technology Week 2014, the largest information and communications technology (ICT) exhibition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, happening from October 12 to 16, 2014 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. During the show, the ministry will reveal its latest ICT-related projects such as smart applications and other e-services that it offers to companies and individuals.
The Ministry’s high-tech projects and smart applications are part of its strategic efforts to integrate modern and advanced technologies into its services. The Ministry of Environment and Water is intensifying efforts to simplify its procedures as well as improve and develop its services through the use of technologies. It also aims to tap new platforms that will ensure high quality, efficient and transparent administrative work. The initiatives are the Ministry’s response to the ‘Smart Government’ program of H.H. Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The program aims to provide high-tech solutions to address public needs 24/7.
Representatives from the Ministry will be at Stand No. S1-A21 at the Sheikh Saeed Hall to answer queries from the participants about their e-services and their use of modern technologies in the implementation of environmental processes and procedures.
The smart services accessible via www.moccae.gov.ae or mobile apps aim to accelerate transaction processes and provide the highest degree of ease, comfort and quality to the public.
