On the occasion of UAE 43rd National Day His Excellency Dr. Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad Minister of Environment and Water conveyed his best wishes and warmest regards to His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, President of the United Arab Emirates and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and to their Highnesses The Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and UAE Nationals.

 In this national occasion the Ministry of Environment and Water celebrated the national day at the ministry’s headquarters in Dubai, with participation of its employees and a number of federal and local authorities such as the Ministry of Youth and Community Development, Al Haboos Folklore and Heritage Society, UAE Orchestra , Dubai Hobbies Club, UAE Volunteer Club, Al Bara’a Nurcery and Al Haya Nursery.

 During the event MOEW employees conveyed their love to the country and gratitude to founders and rulers of the UAE. The ceremony began with the national anthem and performed by the UAE orchestra followed by the oath of allegiance and traditional UAE dance. The celebration program included a competition and performances by the nurseries and hobbies club.

At the end of the ceremony, MOEW announced the winners of the of the best picture portraying the love of the country and the winners of the best decorated department.
