On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Ministry participated in the dialogue session on environmental sustainability, as an example of an Emirati story of excellence, where the engineer, Mona Al Shamsi, sensitized the community members about the vision and thought of the late founding leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in preserving and protecting the environment, preserving natural resources and wildlife, and the most important pillars The approach of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed, had his insightful and far-reaching vision in this field, not only from an environmental perspective, but also because these endangered species form an integral part of the national identity of every individual.

Through this approach, and thanks to the unlimited support provided by the UAE leadership to protect biodiversity, the protection of these species was enhanced through an integrated system of efforts that included creating an integrated legislative structure that ensures their protection and treatment with mechanisms that achieve their sustainability, in addition to a wide range of projects, programs and initiatives that targeted The multiplication of endangered species and their re-release in their natural environments, and monitoring of many initiatives at the national, regional and global levels to protect the natural heritage of the country in a way that ensures the achievement of environmental sustainability, thus creating a better future for current and future generations
