The Ministry of Environment and Water has organized a series of activities in celebration of the World Environment Day 2015. Held under the slogan ‘Seven Billion Dream. One Planet. Consume with Care,’ this year’s World Environment Day celebrations was organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the Dubai Silicon Oasis for the fifth year in a row

The event included an exhibition held in Dubai Mall, participated in by various stakeholders, followed by a show performed by the Dubai Police musical band. Aside from these performances, there were also a number of workshops highlighting the rapid and substantial depletion of the planet’s resources. The activities were designed to promote environmental awareness, encourage the general public to pursue an environment-friendly lifestyle, and educate citizens on the negative impact of the indiscriminate consumption of resources.
