During the meeting HE stressed on the ministry's keenness on maintaining the continuous cooperation with the World Organization for Animal Health, to promote and develop  the animal sector in the UAE, and to benefit from the expertise of the organization, valuing the support provided by the organization.

From her side Dr. Eliot praised the efforts of MOEW for organizing  of The Regional Conference on International Competition Horse Movement, which considered the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region which saw a participation from 26 countries and international organizations. She added that the hosting and organizing the conference confirms the UAE's commitment to support and encourage sports activities related to horses in the, and the development of laws and legislation in accordance with the highest international standards
