Kalba Bird of Prey Centre, located on Sharjah’s east coast close to Al Ghayl Fort, is home to more than 30 species of resident and migrating raptor including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. A fundamental aim at the centre is to sustain conservation and natural habitats. Furthermore, it looks to keep the region’s falconry heritage and tradition alive, educating visitors about the birds that reside there and presenting live flying demonstrations.
