The falcon’s eye view from the top of the stark hill where Wadi Al Helo forks; this is also home to many species of birds, reptiles, rodents, and freshwater fishes.
In addition to its enchanting rocky wonders, the site also has a historical charm—a steep, slippery slope will bring you to a well-preserved fort, built in the 1930s, known to be a watchtower on Umm Al Nar Period.
This three square kilometer protected area has an ecological significance due to its unique diversity of flora and fauna. About 200 plant species can be discovered in the region, including 140 seen in the natural environment and around 100 recorded in active farms.
