Saadiyat Beach nesting in Al Saadiyat protected area and known for its white sands, is awarded with Blue Flag status. Its 9 km breadth is thus represented by a clean beach, clean water and maintaining environmental and safety standards. The beach offers a relaxing place for a day out, as well as the opportunity to kayak and swim, amongst activities available.
Saadiyat Beach is also known as a place where the critically endangered hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricate) nests – the hatching sites being safeguarded to encourage growth and stability in its population.
