Natural History and Botanical Museum

Sharjah Natural History and Botanical Museum offers the opportunity to gain insight on the natural history and geology of this planet and the region. It also provides knowledge on desert plants and animals and the roles they sustain within the broader ecosystem.

On display for example are a meteor from space, fossils, desert and marine exhibits. The Botanical Museum – the first of its kind in the Middle East – has in its garden a large number of native plant species.

The Natural History & Botanical Museum as such offer a comprehensive introduction to the evolution of our planet, its flora and fauna, and similarly allows visitors to gain knowledge on our desert ecosystem and the importance it has for us.
