Falaj Al Mualla Fort

Falaj Al Mualla Fort, which stands in the oasis town bearing the same name, was built in the 19th Century. The stronghold is defined by two round towers on opposite corners and two rectangular towers, again on opposite corners. Together with three separately built and positioned watchtowers, it functioned to protect fertile land watered by the oasis.

The fort is located in the town of Falaj Al Mualla, approximately 45 km from Umm Al Quwain, via Umm Al Quwain – Al Shuwaib Road – E55.


Recommended Visit Season

October to April.


Working Days

Saturday to Thursday from 8 am to 2 pm then 3 pm to 8 pm. Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm.

There is no entry fee.
