Al Bateen Beach and Al Bateen Ladies Beach

Al Bateen beach is awarded with Blue Flag status, meaning a clean beach, clean water and maintaining environmental and safety standards. The beach offers a relaxing place for a day out, as well as the opportunity to kayak and swim, amongst activities available.

Located next to Al Bateen Beach is a separate section specifically for women and children, known as Al Bateen Ladies Beach.

How to get here

Al Bateen Beach and Al Bateen Ladies Beach are located just off Khalifa Al Mubarak Street, about 600m from Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Playground.

Recommended Visit Season

October to April.

Working Days

Al Bateen Beach – daily from 8 am to sunset. Al Bateen Ladies Beach – daily from 10 am to 10 pm where swimming is only allowed until sunset.

Facilities

Parking. Food and beverage outlets. Washrooms, changing rooms and showers.

Entrance fees

Entry to Al Bateen public beach is free. Entry to Al Bateen Ladies beach is AED 25 for adults and AED 5 for children age 3 to 12. Boys above the age of 6 are not allowed.
